The Beukenhof project involves the demolition and new construction of 99 assisted living units with communal areas. Underground parking and exterior landscaping were also part of the assignment Interbuild carried out for Skyline Europe nv. The building consists of 5 layers: underground parking, ground floor with private restaurant and a wellness area with indoor swimming pool. The ground floor and upper floors consist of ultramodern assisted living apartments, each with a spacious terrace overlooking the greenery. The facade is constructed with gray architectural concrete, galvanized steel railings and stairs, facade stone (like the church of Oostduinkerke) and wooden exterior joinery and cladding. Large windows provide plenty of light and views. The large roof areas are provided as green roofs.
