The former modernist Philip Tower (1969), located on the De Brouckère in the centre of Brussels, has become a multifaceted structure with a public added value. In line with its current role and potential, the new project is presented as an 'Urban Platform'. The project serves as a link between the different surrounding neighbourhoods. The MULTI project has been selected as one of the laureates for 'Be Exemplary 2017', for the redevelopment of an emblematic, contemporary office building that connects public space with an accessible urban platform. One of the retail zones as well as seven floors (+1 to +3 & +5 to +8) will be used by B-Post. All technical installations are part of a coherent whole that includes studies from the concept phase, throughout the design and execution of the works, in the context of a high level of sustainability, taking into account a 'BREEAM EXCELLENT' label.
